Just sent this message to the democratic challenger in my congressional district: I have repeatedly contacted you to find out your position on a revenue neutral carbon fee and divided, but you have never responded. When your representative called here to urge me to vote for you, he could not tell me your position. It appears you are taking the environmentalist vote for granted. But be warned, the right may surprise you. And dyed in the wool liberals like me may support them. Take a look at a right wing economists take on a price on carbon.
