Just sent this very angry letter off to the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League... I just wanted to personally thank the Nashoba Valley youth Soccer League for my son NOT playing soccer this spring season. Because of the stupid rules that dont allow kids to play for the team they want to play for, my son has lost the opportunity to play soccer this spring. He was all set to play for Mountain Club this season, as he really enjoyed the team last spring, only to be notified that Nashoba Valley would not allow him to play for them because they had granted him a waiver last year and would not grant another. This information conveniently came over a week after registration for our town league closed. Because of the stupid and pointless politics involved in something that should be focused on the fact that the kids want to play instead of caring who they are playing for, my son has been left out. So please forward this message onto all those whose decision it is to deny kids the joy of playing and thank them for crushing the spirit of a living, breathing, feeling 9 year old child who only wanted to play..
