Just setting the record straight, my friends... I can tease my husband to death (cant call him my ex because our marriage is still valid here in the Philippines, although I divorced him in the States immediately after we separated in 1990)... but it doesnt mean I have lost my highest respect for him. He is, after all, still the father of my children, Issandra (Ivy) and Chiro. He was a fighter pilot of the highest calibre, graduated at the top of his class with a clean sweep of all the awards, including a Bronze cross medal for saving the life of his instructor in a burning wreckage of a trainer jet, and earning the respect of the PMA through the Cavalier Award. He himself was never a PMA graduate but his late father was, Dean Pedro Yap who later on became the brilliant Dean of the College of Engg in San Carlos University, where my husband himself finished two courses in College. Yes, he is still a man to reckon with. He is with top management in Tiger Air. Given the length of time he has been flying and the number of awards he has received in his lifetime, he still maintains a fine record to beat in the service of his country. Of course, I will always be proud of General Grumpy, no matter if he scowls a lot--after all, who wouldnt scowl, if the man sees I am no longer beside him?!? Hehe, I am just kidding, always just kidding... pls dont take me seriously.
