Just sharing a little personal philosophy/insight because I bet - TopicsExpress

Just sharing a little personal philosophy/insight because I bet there are a few people on my friends list who might feel the same as I do. My entire life, for the most part, I have felt like a caged bird. I am extreme and passionate and artistic and creative in my own way. Everyone has their talents and I do not presume that mine are greater than anyone elses. Humility is important. When we do something good we need to give credit where it is due. Anything great I have comes from above. I am very blessed and that is not by my hand. I help as much as I can but I know when there are other forces at play and I am grateful. But still I have felt like this bird who just needed an opportunity to spread my wings. I am trying to do that now but, believe it or not, I still hold things back from time to time. However, I can tell you that by stepping out on my own personal limb, I feel more fulfilled than I have in many years. We all need some kind of Holy War to fight. We all need something that we can strive to be good at. We all need our mission, our ministry or simply our peace of mind. It is different for all of us. My cause may not match yours, but what is most vital is that your cause is something that contributes to those around you, in whatever large or small way. Yet people no longer chase their dreams. People are scared in some cases. Others are just so numb to the world around them that they do not understand that they have been chosen to do great things on this earth. You are royalty. You are princes and princesses descended directly from a bloodline that spawned the King of all Kings. No one should ever be able to make you feel like you are second best, because nothing is farther from the truth. Yet, the thrill is gone... The masses are quiet... Passions have been traded for a bitter pill that they call reality. We swallow it every day while not remembering that it is within our power to create a much improved and different reality. This is what people have lost. They have lost that burning, aching, intensely painful desire to be something greater. It is the passion fire that separates humans from their animal brothers. So by denying it we have become mindless animals who simply react, or not, while walking around like brain dead zombies. We are convinced that we can never rise up and defeat the odds that are clearly stacked against us. We have been sold a lie. The American Dream is not dead until we say it is dead. It might be on life support but I know that each and every one of us has the power to touch just a few lives, and if we would all simply take a little more time to express ourselves and pay it forward, America would be a much better place. If you saw yourself the way we see you then you would realize that you are a rockstar and we are all simply waiting for you to bring a little more music into our lives. Do not be afraid. When no one else believes in you, there is always One who does. Never forget that.
