Just signed up for health insurance the first time in 6 years, which i dont need. I dont like government telling me i have to do something or else. Obamacare hurt me because rates are higher and i dont qualify for subsidy cuz our income is just slightly higher than whats required for our household. even though that income is already spent, they dont care. So now im forced today to either take 95$ hit and not be able to get health insurance the rest of the year if i want to sign up later i cant. And if i signed up in december, it would have been $100 less a month for us. So because im healthy live healthy lifestyle and work my tail off im penalized for everyone else who isnt. Once again you either need to not work and live off the governement state and or federal or be in the higher 250k income category to not get screwed by our government. And yes i did research on rates and companies as well as spoke to 5 different reps.
