Just sitting here playing scrabble on line & thinking about my journey to Marathon day which is in two weeks, its actually giving me insomnia and has done for a while. Including gift aid so far Ive raised £2,881.19, the money raising worried me lots and I am eternally grateful at how far with help Ive got with it, Im proud of the charity I chose, I did apply for British Heart & Samaritans also but I went with the first one that picked me. 5 weeks ago prior to injury I was 100% confident I would cross the finish line, now Im sad to say I really dont know...que sera..sera! But rest assured I will give it my 100%. The support, likes & comments towards my journey have helped immensely, my poor work colleagues have been outstanding with their support....Im a lucky lucky girl, Ive met some really nice people in the running world and made some great friends. Today it hit me how close I am to the end as went shopping and instead of looking for shorts-sports bras-trainers-vests-running socks-energy gels-anything to do with running.....I tried very feminine dresses on, some gorgeous super high heeled shoes (ooohh how Ive missed them) & even smelled some girlie perfume...not long now peeps. Thanks all for your support...hope I didnt bore you too much, only two weeks :) :) :)
