Just sitting here thinking... To borrow from Dr King, I too have a dream! I have a dream that even in the state of Indiana, a state swimming in an ocean of unemployment, swimming in an ocean of financial insecurity, this state will become an oasis of good jobs and decent paychecks. I have a dream that my employability will be judged not by length of unemployment, but by the content of my resume. This is my hope, and this is the faith that I go back to dept of workforce development with. With this faith, we will be able to climb out of the pile of endless paperwork. With this faith, we will get answers to ignored voicemails and emails from Work One. With this faith, we will be able to go to work together, play together, shop together, go to the bank together, knowing that we will be paid one day. This will be the day when all of Indianas workforce will be able to pay their bills. When this happens cash registers will ring from every county and township. On this day, all of Indianas workforce, blue collar and white collar, part-time and full time, will shout Employed at last! Employed at last! We are finally permanently Employed at last!!
