Just sitting on the porch tonight with a fine bottle of imported wine , and then several gun shots went off . I know a lot of the Originals Maple Park have left the neighborhood for many years , but keep in mind a lot of us still have parents and dear friends who are like family still living in the community. We need your support to restore peace to Maple Park . My self and Vincent Gilbert are planing a number of neighbor hood meeting on alternative to the violence that has taken over Maple Park. Maple Park is the fist community in the country that was build for middle class Black people where white people never owned. Maple Park homes had two parent house holds . There was structure in the house hold ,families sat down together and ate together. Your parents talked to you about your day. My Dad went as far to come in to the room myself and my late brother George shared and search the room while while were laying in the bed and you better not even look like you wanted to say something .We are trying to get back to basis economic and good moral vales . I just want to give Vincent Gilbert a big old thank you for the wonderful job fair , he put on in our community (first class) and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you to turn this thing around.
