Just so everyone is on the same page on how government is supposed to work. The minority do not get to pick and choose what laws, already passed, get to be funded. If a bill passes the House by majority, the Senate by majority, is signed into law by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court....thats it. You want to change it, get other laws passed to amend it. Until you do, you cannot hold the government hostage. Thats not how it works and its a very very dangerous road to start down. The President does not need to "come to the table to negotiate" on this. The negotiating was done when the bill was passed into law. Period. End of story.
