Just so everyone knows I am not perfect, hell Im a mile from it! But it takes addiction personally happening to you before you can understand it. Its not a choice, it is a disease, whether or not we like to admit it! It so much easier said than done when your telling someone t stop, if it were that easy there wouldnt be rehabs! Its a matter of hitting your absolute rock bottom and for some it may be death..only 3 ways to go..jails, institutions or death. Jails and institutions did not do it for me..however I did hit my rock bottom...my kids! I damn near lost my kids and husband in the blink of an eye. I love them more than the air that I breathe and I be damned if I let a damn loratab come in between us...so please dont be so quick to judge people still struggling with addiction...until it happens to YOU then you have no idea what its like everyday dealing with the shit that comes with it...unless you are trying to help someone please keep your damn mouths shut..you are only hurting the addict not helping!!!!! Loving my life and the people in it!!
