Just so much on my mind lol Im laying here trying to find a way to make sure the ALS ice bucket challenge Ill be doing tomorrow is seen the right way first off Im not doing it just because its a fad and I love attention but really because I watched a video a few days ago done by Anthony Carbajal who is fighting this disease along with his mother, for you who know me and the struggles Ive overcome from surviving my stroke in 2012 this disease is horrifying Im thankful I had a stroke compared to what people with ALS suffer with IF they dont die from it how thankful I am to receive love and experience everyday life without these conditions! I see videos and posts on how the ice bucket challenge is a waste and impractical but I beg to differ because theres a real cry for help from real people who have this disease if I can make 1 person smile then its all worth it if my video just reaches a handful of friends whove never heard of it or never researched it and googles it only to find they are called to help in some way its worth it, I cant express enough how overwhelmed Ive become to help people I dont know or may never know it breaks my heart to know people younger than me will fight a harder battle than I have to fight daily my left hand still isnt functioning but I have feeling in it I can feel my husbands hand hold it and my childrens hands in my palm everyday! Some people have no feeling at all so yes Im doing the challenge and the people I nominate are not just because theyre friends or family but if I choose you its because I know the power of networking and I feel youre the best candidate to keep this going 1 person at a time we can find a cure medically and emotionally so the videos of the Nez boys and Nate and I will be posted tomorrow after I get soaked I will call out my nominees in my cideo so stay tuned!
