Just so things are completely clear and so some of you can cease with your complaints and insults: I am unwell. The doctors have so far, for more than a year, not been able to diagnose my condition and therefore I am unable to receive any appropriate treatment. In the meantime I am committed to completing this Autumn’s concert tour despite extremely unpleasant and incapacitating symptoms. It demands all of my energy resources to do this and that is why I am not at the merchandise table every evening, signing, (although I sign as many CDs etc as I can before each show), talking and having photographs taken, (although I sign as many CDs etc as I can before each show). Perhaps some of you feel that I am obliged to do this. However at this moment it is not an option. I have cherished your support for more than 35 years and take none of you for granted. However, all that exists between you and I are my words and music. If you feel somehow disappointed then please accept my apologies and look for your “perfect” ideal in someone else. Thank you.
