Just so you know...You cant make me not like you. That little phrase has OFFICIALLY changed my life! Just three weeks ago tonight I made a commitment in my journal to say that to every person that was rude or hurt me. Ive been saying it to those who walked out of my life, to every unkind person as well. Honestly, Ive had to say it A LOT!! Today more then ever. At times, Ive had to say it under my breath because I knew saying it out loud might be taken as sarcasm. But Ive said it, AND FELT IT, all the same. So here is what I discovered.... It works! It brings peace. Saying that one sentence gives me the power to love. The vision to see past people defenses and hurts. It protects me from offenses. It gives me humor over volatile people. And when I actually say it directly to unkind people ... The response is powerful. Most people pause and the a big smile comes. It changes them. Its awesome. So I plan on letting this be a part of my daily character. I challenge you to do this as well for three weeks. (just 21 days) Im betting that you will become addicted to the peace and power it brings into your soul.
