Just some of the upcoming events for Black History Month: 22 October – Costume Day For staff and students to dress up in a national costume. Or this is a chance to get our your Hawaiian shirt and brighten everyone’s day. A cost of £1 for those taking part, funds to go to NG7 Food Bank. 24 October – Lunchtime – Medical School Foyer Food carving by Siam House Restaurant, West Bridgford – Ting and her team Belly Dance Taster, come and enjoy beautiful Egyptian belly dance with Malika. Colorful, vibrant, energetic and great fun! Malika will show you how to do hip drops, shimmies, travelling combinations and Egyptian rhythms. 12 – 1 pm Previns – Manufacturers and wholesalers of quality Indian Food. Kenyan Bead Sale So please come along and see all that is happening. 31 October – lunchtime – Medical School Foyer 12 – 2 pm Drum workshop – come and have a go at drumming!
