Just some random thoughts after a days work... (Warning: Am just writing it just for the hilarity of it. Dont take it too seriously. ) ***** Since Monday, an average of ten out of the number of people I meet in the morning, at lunch break, and after office, tells me about the long queue at the Cashiers. I sometimes thank people for their concern about that. But most of the time the way they say is suspect of something else. As if I was the last to know. As if it were the greatest problem the university is having. So I just often say the usual uwen ngarud!. ***** The pila at the Cashiers is not the greatest problem the university is having right now. In fact, it is something to be thankful of; that theres pila. It would be more worrisome if there is no pila during enrollment because how can we justify the universitys existence. ***** The premier universities in Baguio City do experience pila too during their enrollments. But Oh well yes, I have to concede, the university is striving to be the premier university in the SouthEast. ***** Yesterday, I was told that students should not be allowed to have their pila at the basement of the Admin. I have to concede, some health experts say that it is dangerous for the students to be there. Perhaps, some suffocation might happen. Perhaps some virus more dangerous than the most well-known virus in the world right now is lurking in that area. So yes, an umbrella tent has to be put up outside the admin building. That would be very much better for the students. I saw this scene in UP Diliman too . (P.S. I did not study there, just had some occasion to peep in.) What makes me wonder is, uh oh, the pila is not allowed there but classes are allowed there. What could be the difference? Oh I see now, classes would be more ridiculous if it were under an umbrella tent. ***** While the office is busy with the pila, allegedly a text is circulating around saying that the universitys funds are already low because of the Office of the President. Please dont believe that text. That is totally unfounded and without truth. The truth is the funds are expended and disbursed because of the Cashiers Office. It is this office that writes the cheques to disburse the funds. ***** If you have finished reading up to the last line, please be reminded of the warning at the beginning of this post.
