Just some tidbits of info for buyers & sellers: - Buyers do not pay the commission on a house sale, Sellers sign a listing contract agreeing to a commission. -You can buy a home with a down payment as low as 5%. - Mortgage brokers that I deal with do not charge their clients, they are paid commission by the banks so consider them for your next purchase, they submit your financing to several lenders and find you the best rate overall and you only talk to one person instead of going door to door to all the banks. - Real Estate agents can show you ANY listing on MLS, so Re/Max can show a Century 21 or other companies listing and vice versa. - Notaries can do your paperwork for your sale or purchase the same as a lawyer can. - Realtors are usually self employed and work on commission so we try to do our best when it comes to customer satisfaction as we really appreciate your referrals:) - In this area it is usually more economical to own your own home than to rent if you can come up with the down payment by either saving up, having it gifted from a family member, putting tax refunds towards savings, even sell off some unneeded toys or extras to get that 5%. - Realtors will make sure all buyers viewing your home are preapproved. -Realtors will make sure your home is advertised 24/7 and work with you to get the best price when selling and also the best deal when buying. - If you are moving away we can help you find a Realtor in your new town or city at no cost or bother to you. - Most home purchases can complete in less than a month, and get you into your new home fast. - Home inspections are very important, it lets you know what you are buying and also lets you understand how everything works in your new home. - A good Realtor will help you find a mortgage broker, lawyer or notary, home inspector, appraiser, and also give you contacts to call for home renos, landscaping, roofing. Some, like me even give a city tour when you are new to the area so you know where everything is, schools, recreation, churches....
