Just spent a wonderful day with my HR friends throughout the State (SC). We have an informal group of dear old friends that have been together since the 70s-80s-90s and we try to meet once a year for lunch. Although some of us are retired from HR, we still maintain our friendship and connection, and stories, etc. This bond we share can never be matched as it is true to the core, sincere, trusting, heartfelt, and family. This type of brotherhood-sisterhood is hard to find in the workplace now-a-days.
