Just spent two hours talking with an awesome group of mothers at KU. We went an hour over the scheduled time! After I spoke we had time for questions and discussion and it was great. Its so much easier to dismantle shame, mom guilt, and all our old stories when were honest about them. Some of the conversation lead to specific situations they were experiencing with their own kids and it always makes me feel so encouraged to see women relate to each other, share ideas and lift each other up. This idea that women just hate each other or judge each other all the time doesnt come from no where-- but is so easily turned on its head in a group of women who seek to rally support each other. #somuchlove
