Just... stop. You are who you are right this moment, whether you think about it or not, whether you think about how other people see you or not. You are who you are right now and your experiences will change you. Whatever happened today will shape the You that wakes tomorrow. And on and on. This is truth, this is unchangeable. You can live this way caring about what other people think about you, or you can live this way - waking, experiencing, changing - and enjoy it. Feel it. Live in the tangible space of these moments that change you. Not outside of it. Stop looking at your life from the outside in. Centre yourself. Come closer to yourself and to where you are. Come closer to who you are with. Look at their skin! Look at their smile. Look at how it shines from their eyes. Feel it all! Listen to the different textures of their voice. Hold their hand, feel how it changes you! Warmth, coolness, does it excite you? Does it pacify you? Recognise this person who you are close to. Feel them, and let them feel you. And closer still, feel yourself. Breathe in, through your nose, let your belly touch your spine. Breathe out, mouth closed, feel your breath pass into the top of your mouth, and out through your nose. Feel that calmness deep in your belly. Feel the calm in your eyes. Close your eyes. How long did you close your eyes for? Find comfort in that space of yourself. Find quiet. Watch your thoughts try to tackle you into somethingness. Recognise their ability to move you from within a moment, to outside of the moment. From feeling the moment, to thinking about it. Recognise their power. Breathe. Fill your belly with calmness. Breathe in, in, in. Bring the calm up to your breasts, your chest, your sternum, your collarbone. This is your lungs filled with oxygen. This helps you grow. It feeds your cells. It nourishes all of the life that exists within and on you. All of your being. Out now. The breath rises from within you, passing over the roof of your mouth, near the back somewhere, opening your sinuses, allowing any accumulated particles to continue moving freely out of your body. Drink water. From the sky, from fruits, from plants. You are a river and you are alive. Stay nourished.
