Just submitted a application for the Faculty Diversity Internship Program for next year for the Los Rios Community College District. Teaching is my greatest love out all the other forms of my community advocacy. Even though Im not a formal teacher, Ive grown so much as a non-traditional teacher working with students at various conferences, community programs, mentor trainings, the capacity of a program advisor at the UC davis CCC and so much more. My heart would be beyond fulfilled if I were to help guide the learning process for a small to big group of students in the community colleges. Their work is so necessary to developing communities.
