Just take a look at this rap verse he wrote for his take on the Cyndi Lauper hit True Colors, which he dedicated to his sister with Down syndrome: I keep believing for the day we put our differences aside And let a person be themselves before we cover our eyes Imagine life without the boundaries we create with our pride And opportunities we lose because we judge from inside Kid rapper MattyB, born Matt Morris, stands up for his sister in his new video. Kid rapper MattyB, born Matt Morris, stands up for his sister in his new video. The pint-size Atlanta prodigys rap video for his youger sis Sarah has over 4 million hits on YouTube. People would pick on Sarah for her special needs, the fifth grader (real name: Matt Morris), told Good Morning America on Thursday. But he used his music to inspire kids to think differently. I dont think anybody should be bullied because of what they have, he said. In the video, Sarah is ostracized from the playground by a group of mean girls. She retreats to her house to play with her mom, and the mean girls have a change of heart. They all head over to Sarahs, where they draw with chalk on the sidewalk. MattyB raps while 11-year-old Olivia Kay — does vocals. MattyB’s younger sister has Down syndrome. Mom Tawny and dad Blake are moved by the results. Its really so special to see Matt and Sarah interact, Tawny told ABC News. They’re on a mission to get Sarah into the same public school classes as her peers, despite her disability, which they explain in a “Behind the Scenes” clip accompnaying the video. The writing of the song and production of the video — both of which the parents helped with — were all done out of love for Sarah, who loves to act and be in front of the camera. Shes an awesome sister, MattyB
