Just talking To start with, I wish to congratulate the team for making history on Saturday. I was skeptical over Beston Chambeshi’s appointed as head coach of our dear Kalampa, but the victory has made me turn the coin the other side and try to see why he ended up the preferred choice. The only answer that my mind has contrived to realize is that Beston Chambeshi knows Nkana. He understands what it means to be a Nkana player, Nkana coach, Nkana fan and all their expectations. Good choice. Chambeshi has made mistakes before but like they say, “Mistakes are proof that one is trying.” So, let us give him a chance to prove his worth. Now, coming to the game. There are a few observations that I wish to express; Rabson Muchelenganga Dida is a fantastic goal keeper and if I was a coach, I will simply have his signature. But he too, like many other players, has some flaws. The one I have noticed over the years even the time he was in Chingola with Brave Nchanga Rangers is his misplaced decisions when it comes to set pieces. He will indicate to his defenders that he is about to intercept but will eventually draw back. This, he did on two occasions on Saturday but thank God, we never conceded due to that. Amos Simwanza Great acquisition from Sharp Konkola Blades and i don’t know whether it was ba BE who orchestrated the move or not but that’s not the point. The point is that I expected a lot from him. He was constantly caught off guard and his timing was all wrong. His partnership with Munthali left much to be desired too.I have great faith in him but he must work hard to compete favorably with the likes of Billy Mwanza. He has potential.
