Just that same old shit that keeps him thinking everyday... how to be at peace when the memory’s in the way... who would have the right words to say?... when misery all he seems to display... In fact who would be there to see you alone? This world like a song without a tone. Just another thought ... did it matter to you.. With love and the sky of blue.. With the dreams she attempted and blew.. With the destruction of everything he ever knew... to start a mission and not go through... just another thought... did it matter to you.. Did it matter to you... with that look in his eye... saying don’t leave now... not a good bye.. Did it matter to you... when his head hit the ground; drinking his sorrow away... only to hear the sound of yesterday.. He swear it’s like a trap and he’s trying to run.. So he’s going without the battle won. At times remember what used to be... thought it was something and she told him so. With plenty of fish out in that sea... she’s still those eyes of diamonds in this sea of coal. Did it matter to you ... when he walk away to escape the pain... then she’d see him in the pouring rain... thinking he’s insane.. What he’s formulating a plan that will only fail...or is he too strung out and getting pale. If something goes wrong then it’s got to be him there... when she know he’s thinking about you and still dose care. Did it matter to you... when he left town... reminiscing just brought him down... Now he tries to restart and make it to the top. But see’s picture of her and his stomach drops.. Just another thought... did it matter to you... that he’s forgetting what her face looked like... now he’s dreaming of her and wakes through night... tossing and turning till day light.. Lost, then learning it wasn’t right... in all hindsight... he’s alright..
