Just think of where we would be today, if Adam and Eve (our 1st parents), choose to TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD! Oh sweet GARDEN of EDEN AKA PARADISE! Twas such a beautiful place. If God was that annoyed with Adam, Eve and the serpent, to a point of CURSING THEM, then CHASING THEM OUT OF THE Garden and keeping angels to guard it, after they DISOBEYED HIM: What will He do to you and me, on the JUDGEMENT DAY? The Garden of Eden aka Paradise, had boundaries aka manual for guidance. Man had dominion over everything there, but instructed not to Eat from just one tree,. but due to the SIN OF COMPROMISING ON THE WORD OF GOD, HE ate the forbidden fruit and his sweet stay and all luxurious comfort, came to an bad end-DEATH IN ALL SENSES! Today, our Garden of Eden aka Paradise is Master JESUS Christ. God gave Him to us as freely as He had given Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden. What He requires of us is to follow the FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS = OBEDIENCE! OUR Manual is The HOLY BIBLE. NO matter what, do not COMPROMISE ON THE WORD OF GOD! It took Adam and Eve, a fraction of time and they missed out on the Goodness of God. Following the Footsteps of JESUS is obeying the Lord to the letter aka Word. Imagine the pain JESUS endured from the garden of Gethsemane, when He was pleading His case... Father, take this cup from me!, the 3rd time, He chose to obey His Father, if its Will, let it be done! Where does this leave you and i? OBEDIENCE is the GATEWAY to ETERNAL LIFE!
