Just thinking.... HAVING RADICAL FAITH!! All I seem to do is work lately, which is okay sometimes. However, I would not have to work so much if L.A. wasnt so freaking expensive, and I know that this is not Gods will for me. He has directed me to leave this place. I have a small business and then my work with Downs Syndrome women one day each weekend. Im a single woman, living alone here. I have extremely expensive rent, then my office rent, a car note, all utilities, two phones, internet, massage/spa sessions a few times a month for tense muscles, food, candles for my place and office, cleaning supplies, insurance, tithes, car maintenance, and only minimal recreation. Church and my bible are my recreation these days, because Im too busy for anything else. Im grateful for all that God has afforded me, but Im really getting burnt out with L.A. and its expensiveness. Its beautiful, I love the diversity, weather, and easy access to anything I might need. However, this is only a place to vacation if youre not very wealthy, because youll never be able to save efficiently or build a solid foundation. I have to build a foundation, which means I have to start buying a home and saving more, but not here. Im going to meet my soul-mate eventually and start having children in a few years. I love the south, and I want to raise my children in a rural(the countryside) area there. I want to buy a simple cottage home on a lot of land, where my neighbors live about 0.4 miles over. I need a home where I can plant veggies and colorful flowers... just the simple things. Lately God has directed me to start looking for the home I want, so Ive been searching for about 3 weeks now in the south. My faith in God and his direction is so strong, that Ive even been searching for the interior design patterns in order to renovate it the way I want to. I have also pinpointed the entity that will do the renovation for me. MY RADICAL FAITH & CONFIRMATION: Some of you that are not hearing Gods voice, might not believe my truths or be skeptical, but I will share it with you anyways. Maybe youll get to know him so that you can hear him speak in your life too. Hes not talking to you because you arent talking(praying) to him, nor do you have faith in him. If you doubt me, Id probably ignore you too, but since God loves you despite your mess, he still has grace and mercy in your life. #Ingrates! I had been looking online for 3 weeks or more for the style(cottage house) of home I want, per Gods directing me to, of course. On the sites you have to put the dropdown where you want the price range, so I put it on an exact price. Goodness!!! I am crying and praising God as I write this, because God is good. He will never leave nor forsake you. It just makes me emotional. I just want to help others build their faith too. Back to the story... When I was looking for a home in a certain range, and I thought God, I dont want to get a loan for my down payment. Its going to be more than I can afford. God spoke to me over the weeks saying Trust Me, Child! I then started back searching diligently. Okay.... I got this random call from a minister/mentor from the church, and he always goes into this deep spiritual talk, prayer, and sharing stories with me immediately. Although I never once mentioned to him that I was looking for a home, he randomly brought up a home buying connect he had. He told me that I should try it. Hear me now, I still didnt mention to him that I was looking for a home. He then said When you work with them, they pay your down payment for you. Aside from that, he said they give you $$$ toward your home, so you would not pay anything upfront. The amount he told me was the EXACT amount that I had been putting in the dropdown for weeks on the home finder sites. I almost fainted when he said it. I get overwhelmed when I think about it. Thats where the misconception in peoples minds come from when they think of the scripture Faith without works is dead. That does not mean go out and work like a slave to get the things you want. Hard work is fine if thats what you like. Of course youll acquire the things if you slave and go out to buy them. However, when it comes to a Christian perspective, your burdens are suppose to be light, because God is suppose to have them. Its not Gods will for you to slave and put your focus on acquiring lavish material things to empower or exalt yourself. If you humble yourself and put your faith in him, he will exalt you! Faith with works simply means...ask anything in Jesus name, having crazy faith(without a doubt) that he will provide, and start putting in the work. The work meaning: showing him your faith level. THE WORK: Start looking for the color, style, location, or whatever it is that you are desiring. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23 ) For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)
