Just thinking….. If your country thinks of you; why wouldn’t you be patriotic? If she knows that you exist and go extra miles to protect and care for you; tell me why you will not be patriotic or devote your love and support for your country. Look at this video....even though it might appear extreme, it has a big lesson to teach all of us. In contrast, my people are attacked everyday in the street of Thailand, Malaysia, UK, US etc....who is there to speak for them. So many unemployed youths and graduates in that country, who is there to listen to them or give them job. So many jungle justice on the street of Aba, Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Ibadan who is there to speak for them. So many poor people around...who? who? ..what plans are there for them..what system protects the weak and downtrodden? Indeed there are so many pain, poverty, panic......who will lead us out of this quagmire? By the way, Who is a Nigerian? how do we even know Nigerians? Besides our international passport thats for those who have traveled abroad, Is there any system that keeps record of her citizens? Do they know you exist?. Can you call somewhere in Nigeria and get information that so so person is a Nigerian.... If you are attacked anywhere, both within or outside of that country, what happens? No body cares.... Our country must start now to invest in her citizens, they must start to put their citizens on their budget if not...patriotism or jingoism will always be an illusion. We must do everything possible to have Citizen database system to start tracking our citizens and provide the necessary services to ameliorate the lives of our people. Dont get me wrong the citizens must also do their part to get a better Nigeria that is another story for another day.....
