Just thinking about my glass tonight as I start at the torch....... I have only been blowing glass for 4 years now and self taught til last year when I started taking a few classes to better my advancement. My very 1st thing attempted on the torch was a spoon pipe and I still have it and my 1st marble and my 1st pendant in my collection. Lets just say they are not much to look at lol. I have mad respect and appreciation for where I have came from and love to watch my progression. I never mean any disrespect to any other artists just notice that we all have different levels of acceptance in our quality. Im trying to remove such talk from my vocabulary such as Oh that will work or good enough for me or one of my most hated close enough and replace them with such things as Nope not quite there yet or That wont fly or one of my newly hated favorites (oxymoron time lol) Damn that looks like shit, I gotta straighten that up and get it on point! These small changes will be great over time. It is very hard to see what you have going on from the inside but very easy to see from the outside kinda like swimming in a pool with a shark you dont see it til it is too late but the people walking on the deck see it all. Stay true to what you believe and hold your work up to high standards and the rest will unfold at your finger tips. Thank you to the few glass Gods that I have had the pleasure of watching a demo, standing next to or working with as I have tagged you in this post. You are all the reason I blow glass today. Special thanks in no order to Eusheen Goines, Salt Glass, Natey Biskind, Phil Siegel, Luke Thedrifter, John Kobuki, Rob Davis, Jace Poletti, Ryan McCluer, Jason Lennon, 1 love Glass Life
