Just thinking about my homie Akil Talib. He had heart surgery this morning, from what I gather is the result of high blood pressure, so Im hoping that any of you out there who know they have high blood pressure or any other correctable diagnosis, which is most of us Latinos and afro americans, will handle ya biz and get medical attention. I know no one wants to take meds but if ya feel ya cant go organic and eat healthy then by all means get prescription meds from ya Dr. I couldnt imagine Anthony Tek Rivera Jr. career without Akil being around. Hes been a great influence and contributor to his growth as an artist. Weve been knowing each other for 20+ years and Im not ready to NOT have him around. Yes, of course I can continue my life but Id much rather have him be a part of my sons journey. Either way, I extend my plea to all of my homies out there to please do what needs to be done to extend ya life on this earth. We need you. We want you. We love you. Peace and blessings to you all.
