Just thinking about the past few days, and I cant imagine going through something like this without God by your side. His Word gives such clear direction for each day, and His peace and comfort have been with us every minute. Laughter is very good medicine, and all the pictures everybody posted were AWESOME! They have definitely lifted my spirits. :) I know that everyones experience with a major surgery is unique, but I feel so fortunate to be making a very smooth recovery. Thank you for the continuing prayers! Just wanted to tell you about one of our pictures - the one in the hallway with a nurse. As we were headed into a room, a nurse came out of another room (while we were posing for pictures) and said, Are you all nuts?? :) Hopefully we didnt cause too much commotion at the hospital while we were there! :). I am pretty sure that God was ok with our rowdiness. :) Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 MSG)
