Just thinking aloud and wondering why the Nigerian satellite has not been tasked for aerial surveillance over the Sambisa forest in Maiduguri? Why have the military not adapted the use of UAVs (drones) for surveillance and targets acquisition? Why are the military still involved in CQC (Close Quarter Combat) with these insurgents. Ìn this day and age, there are many new technological tools to adopt when at war, these tools give you leverage over your enemy. Ìf we do not possess sufficient human intelligence to combat these insurgents, then lets make use of forward seeing eyes. Lets bring this nonsense to an end and stop politicizing it, lives and freedom are at stake.
