Just thinking over some things regarding bad choices, sin, wrong directions in life for the child of God. There is hope even after failure. Im grateful! When there is sin found in the believers life especially when things have gotten out of control there is still hope. I do not mean to misinform, God does not wink at sin, and sin does bring with it its share of consequences. With that said there still is hope in the sight of God. Our sin is to be dealt with APPROPRIATELY (whether your sin is Private, Personal - against another, or Public - handle it that way. It is to be dealt with PURPOSELY and BIBLICALLY. Im very thankful God is the God of the Second Chance! In the OT Jonah is a great example and in the NT Peter is another. Both men accomplished more after their restoration than prior to it. To someone who has blown it stop blaming others to make yourself feel better about your bad choices and get up and make a move toward God!! When youve made plans and theyve gone awry, When youve tried your best til theres no more try, When youve failed yourself and you dont know why START OVER! When youve told your friends what you plan to do, When youve trusted them and they didnt come thru, Now you are all alone and its up to you, START OVER! When you think youre finished and want to quit, When youve bottomed out in lifes deepest pit, When youve tried and tried to get out of it START OVER! Starting over means victories won, Starting over means a race well run, Starting over can mean The Lords Well done Dont just sit there, START OVER!!!
