Just this afternoon on my way home from my duty school, I run out - TopicsExpress

Just this afternoon on my way home from my duty school, I run out of coins for my jeepney fair. I asked the driver if he has any change for my paper peso bill and said he doesnt have any. I asked him for a stop over at the gasoline station, he did not answer me but i assume its a yes. Then a few minutes later a lola asked me to paabot her fair. I passed her fair not knowing that seconds after that, shell make realize the true meaning of generosity: LOLA: Maam, wala kay pamiliti? AKO: Naa la but wala koy sinsilyo.. LOLA: (Ni smile sya) Aii, ako na. Ako: O.O Hah? Ngee.. ayaw na la. LOLA: Aii.. ako nay plite nimo. (Sabay kuot sa iya pouch na kato bitawng made of beads ) Ako: As een la..T.T God bless you , salamat jud kaayo la. Grabe, of all the people riding on that jeepney, si lola lang jud ang nag offer. Im not talking about a kind of Lola that wears professional clothes, paired with branded shoes and bags. Im talking about a Lola that wears short paired with faded blouse and slippers. Shes not carrying a branded bag or pouch but a plastic bag and that pouch hanging on her neck. A lola that despite of her old age, still goes to the market to buy food for her family. I spend the entire ride thinking, how I wish I could get her name and ask her if theres anything that I can help her out. Then I realize, she deserves more than that. I may not be able to see her again but shell be on my prayers. I may not be able to repay her but Im pretty sure the Highest One saw her. Hell be incharge of her reward. My heart was touched, sometimes the ones who have less are the ones who gives more. May Lola be an inspiration to all of us guys and gals. #blessed #Life #Beauty
