Just thought I would share some comments I found regarding the burka debate from a city in rural Queensland. Johnx74: Afraid of a headdress. What a bunch of cowards. Cavanor: Im trying to comprehend how having ones face covered (or for that matter wearing sunglasses, a fake/or real beard, long hair, a hat, a helmet, a turban, make up etc) correlates to an immediate and guaranteed threat of terrorism. Surely if someone was going to a location of high security, irrespective of what they are wearing they would be subject to search, screening, metal detector. David: Yeah, we should ban full face burns masks too. They are dangerous. Oh and morph suits! Oh and those plastic suits that the police detectives and surgeons wear! Actually come to think of it, I cant see the face of truck drivers because they are so high up in the cab! Interesting dont you think?
