Just to advise that the Guinness World Record is actually held by Perth, Ontario Canada - not the UK. We started this event in 2010. It is a 5 Mile run and everyone must run. In 2011 we challenged Perth, Scotland to beat our record (many of us went over to Scotland to run!) They have failed twice in their attempt thus far. In 2012 we challenged Perth, Australia who also did not meet the mark. Raleigh, NC picked up the challenge two years ago and have also failed to meet the challenge. And now, New Jersey heaves the sword and charges forward - good luck to one and all - wish I could be there!!!
