Just to clarify :) Next year Ill be starting my two year MSc Botany degree. The change from Genetics to Botany is nothing personal. I have great respect for the research done by all the Genetics laboratories! As MSc is still a training course, I feel it is in my best interest to work on a molecular and physiological project to broaden my skill set. Biological research of late will have some molecular basis, thus I did undergraduate in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and Honours in Genetics. With this foundation I can work on any organism, anywhere in the world in research or industry. Ive learnt to go where life takes me and to be as prepared as possible for anything at anytime. Thus wherever I will end up one day (from a tropical rainforest to Mars) I will be able to work, collaborate and integrate knowledge to try and answer some of the many crazy questions floating around in my mind...
