Just to clarify any misunderstanding. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called for the destruction of Israel over the [Nov. 9th] weekend, stating that the “barbaric” Jewish state “has no cure but to be annihilated.” Every day that Iranian centrifuges continue to enrich uranium is a day that Iran gets closer to reaching either breakout or sneak-out of a nuclear weapon. My question to those who arent terribly concerned with Iran obtaining even the capability of a nuclear weapon is: Just what about Death to America and the Supreme Leader calling for Israels annihilation dont you understand? Keep in mind, please, that after 12 years of asking Iran to demonstrate that its nuclear program is intended solely for non-military purposes, the UNs IAEA has not had its questions answered. If the IAEA has failed to establish a baseline of the status of Irans nuclear project, including its potential military dimensions [PMD] there is no possible way that verification by the P5+1 countries negotiating with Iran can adequately verify Irans compliance with any agreement. -- MF
