Just to clear up some possible misunderstanding (based on an e-mail Ive seen today) and hopefully to prevent any disappointment, the Brooks Council has a VERY full agenda tonight and anticipates a brief presentation about this charter school opportunity in the early part of the meeting under appearances. There will be the opportunity for council members to ask questions, but we mostly intend to listen and have been given no reason to think that any official action might be taken by the council at tonights meeting regarding this opportunity. Naturally, anyone who wants to come is welcome, but this will not be a raise-your-hand-and-ask-questions-as-they-arise type of meeting, nor will it solely or even mostly be devoted to this topic.
