Just to introduce myself as you requested I am a Mum of 4 grown-up children and one sadly miscarried baby whom we named Angel in March 1993. I have had to be a survivor over the years. I grew up in extreme poverty, lost my dear beloved Mum when I was 23 - who brought us up alone when my Father left home when I was 2 and my brother was 6. I married the man of my dreams and have just celebrated 40 glorious years of marriage. In 2001 I had breast cancer and the only way my life could be saved was by having a mastectomy as the cancer was widespread in my left breast. Last year from November to January this year I had a mystery illness which caused me to be bed-bound unable to move a muscle having to be helped in and out of bed etc., and helped with all the most personal things. In January, I got help from a really good physiotherapist and now I can walk again with the aid of 2 walking sticks or a wheelchair to the shops. I love life and try to live it to the full. I am a christian and believe in the power of prayer. Thanks again for accepting my request to join. God bless you all.
