Just to keep you updated: Mike and I decided to throw in the towel on getting Walker into Fairview-Clifton German Language School. My fingers and toes are already numb from standing in the cold for 3 hours, and its just untenable with work and family responsibilities, despite the wonderful offers of help. (THANK YOU!) So now we are at home and gave up our spot of #18 in line. There is a chance we may still get him in on the lottery, if CPS will get off their butts and notify families. Currently there are at least 9 additional families that are camping out in the cold tonight, perhaps unduly. Seems ridiculous, doesnt it?
