Just to make residents aware.....a couple of girls, early 20s or late teens, and tall male with black and white med sz dog just walked past my yard where my daughter was walking our dog on a leach in our yard and playing about 45 min ago. The people went over and kicked my 60 pound dog in the ribs with force. Then took his harness and threw him so he fell on his side for no reason. My daughter said she had to try help him up. They did this right in front of my 8yr old, who came inside crying naturally. My dog was initially whimpering and all shaken up. This happened on min after i just checked on them. He seems better now, but wanted others to beware. I ran out to try to speak to them but the disappeared. I called the police to report it. The officer said they cant do anything because too much time passed and since i was not technically outside they couldnt take my childs account of what happened. My dog is the most gentle, easy going dog u can imagine, completely non aggressive acting and gentle looking dog u could imagine. So for this to happen just pisses me off. Grr....how anyone could a an animal on the persons property with leach in front of a child is really aggravating.
