Just to piggy back off my Black women are bitter post (because I just spotted something else doing a quick scroll): why is it that some of you would rather tear a Black woman and her business down rather than simply not supporting? The latter IS a viable option, you know? For example: I just saw a whole post where someone who clearly doesnt want to use a certain product going in on it. And this wasnt because she had facts about the product; she simply just didnt want to use it and bashed the company AND the product. Same with certain hair forums. Anytime a Black woman announces that shes starting her own hair extensions line, hair products, etc., you guys would rather pick her apart, find her wholesale vendor, and boldly say oh here we go. Another weave/hair product line. Find something better to do. Again, supporting someone is 100% optional but a LOT of you go overboard in showing disdain when you have no plans to support them in the first place. But oddly enough, the very same Black women who bash you for TRYING to be an entrepreneur are the very same ones who support every other asian or white owned business known to man. With your own, the prices are too high, you dont trust it, you need the Black friends and distant family members discount but ask NONE of this when it comes to others. If you dont see it for someones business, simply dont support it. But I can come up with a whole list of stuff thats wrong with YOU for bashing a business you knew from word one that you werent gonna support anyway. Just bitter for no reason.
