Just to remind everyone we are having the Bangkung Row Buka Puasa Fundraiser for Pertiwi Soup Kitchen, this coming Sunday 13th July 7.30-900PM at Jalan Bangkung. Minimum donation of RM50, but if you can afford less but would still like to attend, please do so and donate what you can. We have about RM30,000 in pledges so far thanks to some generous Malaysians. Pn Munirah who runs the soup kitchen will be attending the buka puasa, so if you want to know more about the challenges of the poor and homeless in KL, do come and meet her. A friend is also trying to arrange for some kids from an orphanage to buka puasa with us. Do come and support the work Pertiwi Soup Kitchen is doing to keep the hungry in KL fed. Thanks.
