Just to show you you cant trust people, neither private nor company. This part was damaged, and the new one came in today.. I started comparing the two parts because I didnt think I cracked mine that bad... noticed this orange goo on the plastic... after installing the new part and cranked the truck up.. after this, I broke the old one in two to see inside of it... in the second picture you can see a piece of paper lodged in between two metal hinges... this is the sensor that goes to the computer to know the air flow... the computer needs to know the air flow to know how much oil, coolant, and fuel to push... also it was cracked all around the lid, with the Orange goo... what is it? And why? They broke this sensor open to lodge the paper so the computer will get an inaccurate reading... how did they seal it back together? What is that orange goo? Its JB weld for plastic... why would they do this? Either they couldnt fix the problem, which was the fuel pressure regulator, or it was a scam so I would have to take it back months later because I could not diagnose the problem.. jb weld is a temporary fix... which explains why it finally gived few months after we bought it... lol... makes sense now why all the salesmans told me I basically stole that truck... Damn con artists.
