Just to throw an idea out there in Clubland. Would anyone be interested in a first aid course based around biking? I did one a few weeks back and it was excellent. It was based on horse injuries; but can be adapted for motorcycles. The course is a day and is run by and ex-paramedic. She can teach 10 people in any one course. I appreciate that we are geographically split, so am willing to arrange a course in the South and one in TNorth. It struck me that during the WDW week we, as a group rode miles as gropus of 4, 3 ,2 and even 1 in some very remote places. Having the ability to keep someone going after an accident and administer first aid for everything from burns to breaks and be able to do full CPR would be a priceless on a cold mountain pass. Anyway if members are answer this post and Ill see what the the response is. If 10 do the course is will be about £35 each and the qualification lasts 3 years before renewing is necessary. We have the ability to fix out bikes on the side of the road, as demonstrated by members this last week; but could we fix each other?
