Just to update everyone: sadly After the End has been pushed to next semester as well. Thats a total of three shows pushed now, which means the beginning of semester two will be very packed. Harvey will also be under new management, with the committee offering our help in directing the play. The tight schedule will mean that the committee will assign dates that plays will have to meet as final deadlines, rather than allowing directors to choose dates. Well be lenient and accommodating, of course, but if the shows will fail to meet this final deadline, they will be cancelled permanently. The reason Im being a huge Debbie Downer before holidays is to remind everyone to keep on top of their lines. When you come back, there will be a very limited number of rehearsals available, so as far as the cast is concerned - you must be ready to perform the second you step onto Preston soil. Also, directors for semester two will possibly have a bit more time to think their applications through, what with extra performances in the next semester schedule, but our advice is to start thinking about it now. Take a look at the forms, make sure youve got everything sorted by the time you submit your application and your cover letter is enough make Stanislavski cry. The reason for this is simple - while we showed significant leniency towards applicants last semester, we will no longer do that. Anything short of a professional-standard application probably wont be considered. So, sorry for being a huge dick. Love yall. Happy holidays, gang.
