Just under two weeks to go to submit for Aes July group exhibition and mini film festival! Calling all creative cult film fans and B-movie buffs: Aes July group exhibition, It Came from the Q.arma Building! is receiving submissions until June 8. Submit for the show here: alteredesthetics.org/form/submit-art-upcoming-exhibition This show is for artists to explore b-movies and low budget filmmaking, primarily in 2D form, and will be held at The Southern Theater located on the West Bank in Minneapolis. Ae is also receiving submissions for a short film/video exhibit to coincide with the show. The film/video exhibit portion/event is looking for film/video work that is not necessarily b-movie related, and can be in form of experimental, video essay, video poem, narrative, animation, documentary, silent, etc.; with a length no longer than 20 minutes. We will accept new or previously exhibited work. An artist statement is preferred, but not required.
