Just unreal. Every day creatives get screwed over. Every. Single. Day. When I was an illustrator I would get emails asking if some company could use my work and how they couldnt pay me but I would get a ton of exposure. As a photographer, I get the same kind of crap to this day and my response is simple---No, sorry, I have bills to pay, I have enough exposure and that doesnt pay my bills. So no, you cant use my work for free and I am quite frankly offended youd even ask that. There are rare exceptions to the rule where Ill barter or where I will let people use my work but they are very far and few between & usually involve non-profits. Now, it continues on even a larger scale where we have one company/organization that makes literally billions of $ *asking* for artists to pay in order to perform with the same exact BS line of youll get a lot of exposure. Really NFL? REALLY? As it is I am not a big football fan, now I am on the verge of hating it, even more so now. When does hockey season start?
