Just visited Beavertons Farmers Market ... the biggest farmers market in the area. So almost everything must be produced locally. Great whiskeys, ginger liqueur, honey based toffee, chocolates (fair trade) made with local nuts and fruits, breads, sea food, lots of vegetables and other stuff. SO maybe we need to have a weekend event purely focused on local bioregional foods and crafts ... host it as Cascadia: Bioregional Living. If people are interested I would suggest early autumn (harvest season) and we need a very public location(s)
