Just wanted to applaud all the people in Wilson who assisted with the Back to School event there today. What a great cause! It was evident a tremendous amount of planning and work went into it. The West Feliciana Parish Sheriffs Office helicopter was there. There was a drug dog and a chase dog on hand as well. The kids liked the fire safety house and the state police camaro. And of course the fire truck and Acadian ambulance were there. And, it seemed like a hundred door prizes were given out along with school supplies for the children. What a day. Had a great snow-cup too! Yes, the town of Wilson knows how to do it right .
