Just wanted to clarify for anyone who keeps track. Im still waiting on Mikes wheelchair. I believe it should be here this week. Boy, does he need it. He is very unhappy with this back leg paresis. I have been taking the needed precautions and expressing his bladder daily and keeping him clean, fed, and dry. I called the vet today just to get the technical term for his diagnosis. That is, he has spinal fusion IVDD on the L3-6 region. But Gil Stazzione, was very adamant to point out the difference that this is not a paralysis but a paresis. Which makes sense, because Mike cant really stand up anymore or sit properly, but he can move those feet. The vet said he would be getting a pins and needles feeling, and that is observable when I see his legs shake sometimes like he is getting that sensation.
